EVENTS SPACE

Behind the black doors, there is something magical inside. The Hide has two internal warehouses spaces both with their own distinct character. 

The Warehouse is a large space lit by wall and ceiling fairy lights, with the iconic Percy & Lily’s H vans sitting inside. The space acts as a great informal mingling and networking space by day, but by night it’s the space for music, drinking and dancing. The Warehouse is also used for humanist ceremonies and celebrations.

The Canteen Hall is a white walled warehouse with high ceilings, filled with beer garden style tables and benches, green foliage, original critical windows and the word SHEFFIELD in wall mounted light boxes. Its an area for eating, chatting and socialising, it’s the place we hear most wedding speeches, but it’s also a great space for  presentations, training and conferencing.  

You can opt to hire The Warehouse, or both spaces depending on your event, numbers and the way you want to use the events space. We have the option of a second bar in the Canteen Hall.

WEDDINGS

The versatility of The Hide is what makes the space unique and stand out from others in Sheffield. We have two very different warehouse spaces where you can eat, dance and celebrate with the ones you love. The Hide includes the iconic yellow Citroen H Van as it’s bar. From next year, clients can chose their catering from a list of trusted suppliers. We also have a relaxing front of house space and options of outdoor seating in the warmer months offering your guests a variety of spaces to move in and out of, with room to talk as well as party!

CORPORATE EVENTS

From conferences, to training days, awards ceremonies and staff celebrations, we’ve hosted local, regional and national clients at The Hide. From race nights to cinema events, the space can be set up to deliver almost anything and we have the industry contacts to help you realise your vision. 

We can assist you in sourcing a bespoke catering option to suit your event. Our onsite café run by Smith Street Coffee Roasters provides freshly roasted and ground coffee, which really is the best in Sheffield.

PARTIES

The Hide is a perfect party venue. She can be transformed to fit a theme and personalised to suit your needs or, you can just ‘rock up’ and party in our space, as in our opinion she’s perfect just the way she is. We’ve had jazz bands, rock bands, acoustic singers and some of the best DJs bringing their music to the venue and creating a night to remember! Our party warehouse space is home to our iconic yellow Citroen H van bar, and provides ample space to eat, dance and celebrate the night away!

PUBLIC EVENTS

Street Food Friday is a quarterly event we’ve run for the past 9 years at The Hide. We serve two street food menus, have two bars and a great DJ plays tunes that keep the dance floor busy all night long! Our VERY last Street Food Friday is scheduled on July 14th 2023, and is the return of our Club Tropicana 80s Night. For tickets, contact us by email. They are £25 and include your first drink, streetfood and of course entry.

In the COVID summer of 2020, we brought back our Breakfast Club and ran this in conjunction with Smith Street Coffee Shop from July to October. Watch this space for news of an AUGUST 2023 Breakfast Club .
